Product Comparison

Ez-Dock

Constructed from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), EZ Dock is durable and foam-free, resisting wear and tear. However, its single-material design may be less robust in extreme conditions compared to Snap Dock’s reinforced structure.

Snap Dock

Construction

Engineered with high-density, UV-resistant polyethylene, Snap Dock offers exceptional durability, supporting up to 1750 lbs. Its foam-free, two-piece construction resists cracking, fading, and corrosion, thriving in harsh marine environments. Backed by an industry-leading 10-year warranty, Snap Dock ensures long-term reliability with minimal maintenance.

Wave Armor

Made with roto-molded polyethylene and filled with polystyrene foam, Wave Armor is sturdy but less sustainable due to foam use, which can degrade. Its 8-year pro-rated warranty offers less comprehensive coverage than Snap Dock’s.

Sustainability

EZ Dock uses recycled materials and foam-free RotoMold technology. It passes leaching contaminant tests and is degradation-resistant, making it a strong eco-friendly option.
Snap Dock prioritizes eco-friendliness with recyclable, foam-free materials that minimize environmental impact. Its UV-resistant polyethylene resists degradation, ensuring no harmful particles enter waterways and makes a strong eco-friendly option.
Wave Armor’s use of polystyrene foam reduces its sustainability, as foam can break down and degrade. It lags behind Snap Dock and EZ Dock in environmental responsibility.

Ease of use

EZ Dock offers self-adjusting rollers  for loading and a slip-resistant surface. However, its PWC lifts lack the refined split-entry design of Snap Dock, and some users report hull damage from roller contact over time.
Snap Dock’s split-entry port design is a standout feature, making docking and launching your jet ski effortless and intuitive. The port splits into two sections with a central channel, guiding your watercraft smoothly onto the dock with minimal effort. This design reduces the need for precise alignment, as the split-entry naturally funnels the PWC into place, even in choppy water or windy conditions. Adjustable rollers conform to the hull, ensuring a secure, scratch-free fit for various jet ski sizes,
Wave Armor’s ports, like the SLX series, feature 12 polyurethane rollers and a V-shaped entry docking. While stable, its foam-filled ports are heavier, and the design is less versatile for smaller PWCs compared to Snap Dock.
